I am an experienced dog walker based in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire. I have lived in Gloucestershire (Dursley and then Nailsworth) for over 9 years, and am very familiar with the area. The surrounding areas are lovely for dog walking. I work within a 10 mile radius of Nailsworth, which includes Nailsworth, Stroud and Woodchester (and all the villages inbetween).
I have a 15 year old Jack Russell who I've had for over 5 years. Please note, during my professional dog walking, my own dog will never accompany me. To reassure you, my professional dog walking time is for my customers' dogs (not mine).
I have been a registered volunteer with the Cinnamon Trust (a national charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets), where I walked various dogs. I have a range of experience in dealing with animals (both wild and domestic) including working for over 12 years as an ecologist; working at the RSPCA's West Hatch Wildlife Hospital, and being a volunteer dog walker at the RSPCA's South Mimms Centre, North London.
I am fully insured to walk dogs both on the lead and off, however I would need written permission from the dog owner for off lead walking. I am also qualified in Pet First Aid. I have been DBS checked (Disclosure & Barring Service) - previously known as Criminal Records Bureau (CRB), and hold both a regular and enhanced DBS certificate. My certificates can be viewed upon request.
